Dr. Oday Alnabhan is an Assistant Professor of Business Administration and Doctoral Dissertation Chair with 15+ years of experience across higher education, organizational leadership, and executive consulting. In academic roles, he teaches a wide range of undergraduate and graduate courses with a primary focus on business strategy, organizational leadership, human resource management, management, sales, and marketing. He mentors doctoral candidates from topic selection and proposal development through research design, analysis, and final defense. His dissertation supervision spans a broad range of applied business topics, including leadership, emotional intelligence, AI in organizational strategy, human capital development, analytics, and digital transformation, with an emphasis on academic rigor and practitioner-relevant outcomes.
In parallel, Dr. Alnabhan serves as a CEO and principal consultant, leading multi-state engagements focused on HR infrastructure, workforce planning, regulatory compliance, operational improvement, and data-informed performance systems. He has expanded his consulting work to support underserved sectors and minority-owned businesses and also provides volunteer mentorship to immigrant-owned small businesses. His projects include end-to-end HR system development, compliance audits and policy alignment across jurisdictions, mobile-friendly employee portals, policy and handbook authoring, and modular onboarding and training programs integrated with LMS platforms. His work has supported measurable outcomes such as reduced turnover, stronger performance management processes, improved engagement, and reduced administrative workload.
Previously, Dr. Alnabhan held district- and territory-level sales and operations leadership roles in the U.S. wireless industry, where he led turnarounds, strengthened KPIs, and improved market performance through coaching, process optimization, and data tracking. He improved customer experience and protection metrics through bundling strategies, frontline coaching, and service optimization, and strengthened productivity, retention, and overall performance through continuous evaluation and employee development.
